During the Norman and Saxon periods, men of all classes wore tunics. The sleeve and garment were cut as one piece using only one seam. The front was open a few inches and adorned with trim as well as the hem and sleeves.

Very nice. Sturdy fabric and construction. The overall shape is pretty accurate, but the keyhole neck should be a bit higher (more like #120988). Also, the trim could have a more Norse motif.

I ordered this tunic for use in a period viking costume I am putting together. It is well made, with a nice rich brown color. The trim on the sleeves, collar, and bottom are sewn on well. It is a very nice tunic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, versatile piece to add to your costume collection.
